My experience with Pelican Health at Charlotte is not as well as I would like it to be. The staff here is not as punctual as I think they should be. They appear overworked, though I don’t see that many patients here they’re going to be overworked. The nursing staff is not as attentive as they should be though they’ll get to you if you complain.

With all these perks, it is no wonder an increasing number of retirees prefer to live in this part of theOld North State. The staff there are unprofessional and management has many problems with turnover. I’ve seen urine on the floor in the residents room and no one making an attempt to clean it. I’ve seen a broken bed and an elderly resident left there lopsided on the bed until I pointed it out. One resident was not given an important medication and almost lapsed into a coma. One CNA in particular named Mona was the worst- always making excuses.
